I'm Joanne but most people call me Betty. I studied fine art printmaking at Limerick School of Art and Design where I developed my interest in photography.
No matter what form of art I make photography seems to have an integral part and I integrate it into my work frequently. I'm passionate about old movies, analog equipment, old buildings, old anything really. I am constantly gathering and documenting trying to capture places and things before they change. I don’t like when things change, I seem to want to hold onto the past believing it to be the better bit.
I'm half of the Pixelated.ie duo with my husband Micky. We are a design studio creating websites, videos, photography and graphic design. I also work part-time for Mazars as a graphic designer, photographer and in all areas of digital media.
