Askeaton Contemporary Arts Publication
My photographs alongside reflections by Kevin Barry of Limerick in the early 90s.
In 2017, while in residence at Askeaton, Kevin Barry and Olivia Smith were crafting their annual anthology, Winter Papers, a vibrant collection spanning fiction, non-fiction, poetry, photography and visual arts. Kevin responded to my photographs of Limerick, captured in the late 80s and early 90s, with short texts. Askeaton Contemporary Arts showcased these writings in a special publication for their open day. It is available to buy on their website titled 'Scenes from the Analogue City'. That same year, my images appeared in Winter Papers, accompanied by fresh writing from Kevin.
