People I meet

I love photographing people, trying to capture a small insight into their life in a particular time and place. Memories would be lost if we had no photographs to help unearth them.

I'm especially fond of photographing children. They're not as self-conscious and can be a lot of fun to work with. They also love to dress up, which can bring a whole new element to their portraits. The structure of children's faces changes so much as they go through the stages of childhood. There is a special moment where they cross over to their teens. Time is limited, and I'm trying to slow it down somehow. Or at least catch a snippet to hold on to.
